Gaby Simaan
Managing Director

Gaby Simaan has been the MD of Trinity Pharma since April 2011.

After obtaining his Bachelor of Commerce degree at University of Witwatersrand, Gaby started his career in the pharmaceutical sector as a generic sales rep. Gaby founded and acted as a director for a number of pharmaceutical companies including a retail pharmacy group, a pharmaceutical wholesaler, a health and beauty distributor and a chronic medicine services provider. Gaby was also involved in the export of pharmaceutical products into Africa and the supply of products to the South African public sector.

Through his vast experience across most aspects of the industry, he has secured an extensive network and knowledge of the Sub-Saharan African pharmaceutical industry and its relevant retail channels.

André Stürmer
Non-Executive Director

André Stürmer is a director of Trinity Pharma and has been leading the company's transformation since 2009. André is also the MD of TriVest, Trinity Pharma's majority shareholder. He is currently the CEO of lnoxico, one of TriVest's portfolio companies.

Prior to this, André worked with JP Morgan, initially in London and later in Johannesburg, driving the expansion of the Sub-Saharan Africa Debt Capital Markets and Derivatives franchise. After completing his MBA (lESE, Barcelona) in 2005 he lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for one year, working as a management consultant.

Cherylynn Johnson
Responsible Pharmacist

Cherylynn Johnson joined Trinity Pharma as the Responsible Pharmacist in January 2011 where she provides guidance and expert advice to their clients regarding all aspects of regulatory affairs. Cherylynn completed her B. Pharm. at Wits University.

For her internship she worked at Sunninghill Hospital Pharmacy, Quintiles and PharmaQ, where she gained diverse pharmaceutical experience in the fields of hospital, retail, production and clinical trials.

After completing her community service year, she returned to Quintiles as a Regulatory Officer, where she worked on numerous clinical trial submissions in various therapeutic indications.

Gideon Rossouw
Deputy Responsible Pharmacist

Gideon Rossouw advises on all regulatory aspect of Trinity Pharma's business.

Gideon's professional experience comprises of more than 23 years in the pharmaceutical industry, including working for the MCC, Jansen Pharmaceutical as a Clinical Research Associate, and Akromed as an advisor. He also gained practical experience in contract manufacturing and packing as the Managing Director of a contract manufacturing and packing company.

Gideon qualified as a pharmacist in 1982 and completed his Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. He also studied Iaw and completed courses including Research Techniques, Good Practice in Clinical Research and Clinical Trial Management.
